Every year, we have our traditional HALLOWEEN FEAST. The kids think it's really fun, and I get to do crazy things with food. We usually have our feast the Sunday before Halloween, but Monique had the stomach flu that day, and didn't really feel like eating. So, we had our feast the Sunday after Halloween. This actually worked out better, because Grandma was able to enjoy our tradition with us. This year I decided to have a little more fun. We made Jack-0-lantern hats for each of us to wear, and I covered the table with paper, and we all made a Halloween tablecloth. Everyone was really creative, and had a great time drawing all over the table. It was tons of fun, and the kids did a fantastic job.
What's on the Menu?
Jack-o Patties
Monster Mashed Potatoes with Orange Worms
Gooey Fingers
Witches Bread
Blood to Drink
I think Izabella's trying to make the same face as her hat!
Monique did not want to share markers with Olivia.
See how she's protecting her territory from little sneaky fingers.
Of course, Kirk couldn't just draw ghosts, pumpkins and witches.
No, he had to draw psycho Santa on a motorcycle. He's so strange.
Our table setting. We used our hats as place cards to know where everyone was going to sit.
We had black paper for place mats, and I pulled out my nice white dishes and goblets
to make it extra special.
This is our creepy dinner.
I'm not very good at taking pictures of food.
One of these days, I'll get it right. You get the idea though.

To all who view this picture: I promise the food product on top is BREAD! It is actually very good bread. However, our oldest refuses to believe us.
I like how you use all the nice dishes and cups and then use the plastic utensils. HOW FUN R U? What great memories your girls will have. YOU GO GIRL!!
That's so great! I love what a creative fun tradition that you're starting. Thanks for sharing... maybe I'll get off my butt and do something fun with the kids!
I know I used the plastic utensils, but they matched better. If I would have had cute paper plates and stuff, I would have used them. The easier the clean-up the better I say!
My aren't you the fun one! Love the costumes!
What a great and fun idea. I love it!
That's great!! Fun idea for kids. I'm taking notes.
